Bamboo is one of my
favorite subjects to paint because it allows me a great
sense of freedom. I do not use reference photographs
when painting bamboo and really enjoy the simplicity
of the piece.

palette limited to 3 warm colors. The beauty of the Alkyd
paints reveals itself in it's jewel like colors. There is
some light ink cross hatching as well. I am very pleased
