This painting was created using both direct painting and glazing techniques.    I let a fair amount of the under painting to show through in the finished piece which adds to its warmpth.

This original painting is painted on gessoed 1/4 panel and has a fairly smooth texture to it.  I painted the distant mountain a little cooler to add a little depth to the painting.

This painting was created using the following pigments: Indian Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, Burnt Sienna and Tetra Verde.  The new addition of Tetra Verde to my usual palette of colors worked well and I plan on using this color more in the future.

This piece can be framed with a 1.75" Koa Veneer Frame with 2" Green Silk Scoop.  If you are interested in a specific framing option, please email me.
