"This painting was created using a glazing technique with acrylics on a gallery wrapped canvas.  The sides of the painting are painted and staple free.  This piece can be hung without framing.  The three pigments used in this painting include Naples Yellow, Deep Violet, and Phthalocyanine Blue and Payne's Grey"

The Hawaiian name for this fish is called the Humuhumunukunukapuaa.  It is also know as the Picasso fish because of its striking and unusual color pattern.  This piece turned out very well.
