Bamboo has a
magical quality that can instill peace and tranquility with
its simple and elegant shapes. The beauty of bamboo is
timeless and has been a favorite subject of artist for
centuries. All of my bamboo paintings are painted from
my mind's eye...based on snapshots taken in my mind of bamboo
that I have felt and touched. Painting this way provides
me with a sense of peace and freedom to set aside
detailed realism and let the painting come to life on it's
own.The framework for
this piece is made from actual bamboo. I developed this
particular style of open framing and it has become one of my
signature styles.
This edition is limited to only 20
signed/numbered prints and 5 Artists Proofs. This will
be the last 20/5 series of prints that I will make.
