SINGLE PINEAPPLE #2
Original Stone Carving by Guy Junker
Stone measure appox. 12" tall x 6" wide

$275

The Pineapple was first introduced into Hawaii in the early 1800's by Don Francisco de Paula y Marin, the Spanish advisor to King Kamehameha I.

Commercial pineapple plantations were established in the late 19th century and ushered in the Plantation Era of Hawaiian history. Pineapple fields still dot the Hawaiian landscape today and remind us of Old Hawaii.

The back of the carving features a history of the design and a short artist bio.  The piece is also signed and dated by the artist.

"The surface coloring on this piece is varied which gives it a rustic feel.  A very old time Hawaii feel."
