This sculpture
is carved on natural slate and includes a hanging framework made
of bamboo and jute.
The Japanese
calligraphy literally translates to "The Way of Tea". Chado
is the study of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
A deeply spiritual and elegant art form, Chado developed around
the preparation and drinking of tea.

wonderful texture. The edges flaked nicely and the stone
was easy to work with. Very nice."
